2021 RFA for the Small Communities Water and Wastewater Grant Fund
The Small Communities Water and Wastewater Grant Fund have received an additional $4,400,000 in funding to award. On behalf of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment we are pleased to inform you that your Florissant Water & Sanitation District application has been approved for an award of $400,000 for improvements to your wastewater system. Project to start early 2022.

Drinking Water:
State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan: Principal Forgiveness Loan in the amount of $847,920.
Small Communities Drinking Water Grant: $200,000 grant for water treatment plant
equipment/construction
SSTTA Grant: For drinking water treatment engineering in the amount of $20,000.
Wastewater:
Small Communities Wastewater Grant: $950,000 grant for wastewater treatment engineering,
permitting, construction and equipment.
DOLA Energy Impact Grant: The district has been approved for a grant in the amount of $950,000.
WQIF Grant: For wastewater treatment engineering and lift station pumps in the amount of
$100,000.
